Valentine’s Day Makeup Look

Valentine’s Inspired makeup look

Hey Beauties,

I created a practical valentine’s day look with a lot of glam. I am not a huge “valentine’s Day “fan even though I am married but I love any excuse to do themed makeup looks so here we go.

Valentine’s Day Look

This look is perfect for a glam dinner date but also its no so over the top that its not practical. If you want a more toned down version of this look than either skip or get more natural looking lashes.

Primers:

First I primed my face with Nyx Cosmetics Angel Veil and Deciem Hylamide HA Blur in my t zone (so you can’t see my pores) and for eyeshadow  primer I used the Urban Decay primer potion (original).

Next for this look I did my eyes before foundation as I knew I was using darker colours that have fall out so keep that in mind when you do yours black eyeshadow can ruin your foundation if it falls so its best to do the eyes first then do the rest.

Eyes:

On my eyes I am wearing the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette and the Tarte Tartlette in bloom palettes. I have I used Thanks a latte from the VV HG palette on my whole lid up to the brow bone . I used transition very lightly in the crease blending in upward wiper motions. Next I used a mixture ok” Smoke show” and “Activist” from the tartelette in bloom palette blending into my outer corner going towards the middle of my eye.

I put “On Fleek” and a little bit of “cranberry splash” on the rest of my eye and blended it all together. For extra drama I added “Wine N Dine” into the inside corner of my eye and then I smoked out “Activist” and “Wine N Dine” on my lower lash line.  I used “Crystal“from the VV HG palette as an inner corner nightlight and my brow highlight. The Black Liquid liner pen that i used is from Mary Kay . Lastly I added Anabelle Black Kohl Liner to my water line, Curled My lashes and added my Kiss Faux Mink Lashes in Gala. I added a touch of mascara to help it blend better and on my lower lashes I used the Loreal voluminous mascara in Carbon Black.

i paired this look with romantic curls for my hair style

Foundation and Concealer/Contour :

MyFace Makeup is done using “Wayne Goss “  method which is that I did my highlight and contour before my foundation . The concealer I used the Urban Decay Naked concealer in fair neutral and I used the L.A. Girl pro conceal in Chestnut for contour. I blended it out with My Nyx Cosmetics foundation in a mixture of nude and soft beige. To set it all I used the Marcelle Face powder in Translucent.

Brows, Bronzer And Highlighter:

Brows powder is from Benefit I used the Dark brow shaping kit, then I used the gimme brow # 3. I used the essence Matte Bronzing powder in 01 Natural to bronze my forehead and cheeks. The VV HG “Crystal” as a highlighter.

Blush and lips:

For blush I used the Milani baked blush in 02 rose D’oro. And lastly for the lips I used the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red with Nyx cosmetics Lip Liner Pencil in plum. I used a darker lip liner because I wanted the red to be slightly deeper and I find this really works if you want to slightly change the colour.

I hope you guys like my Valentines Day Inspired look and Have a great Valentine’s Day!!
