AlumierMd eye creams! Skincare review
Eye creams for me have always felt like a gimmicky marketing technique. I have bought many eye creams in the past to do a skincare review for you guys but never saw any amazing results that I wasn’t already getting from my moisturizer. I always cringed at spending a lot of money for these tiny tubes so I avoided them for ages.
I decided to purchase a few and I was quickly disappointed really I tried a bunch and it was the same thing and I really never saw the benefits to warrant buying a $100 + eye cream. Then I went to a great blogger conference and I got to meet some great people from AlumierMD. It is very rare that I meet people who are so passionate about what they do and they put their heart and soul into their brand. At the event they had looked at my skin and matched me to some products which I was sent through pr. Now I am still trying out their other products which I will do a post about the whole line.
I was going to wait for the post about the whole line but this one I was so excited that I could not wait to share this with you guys! I have to eat my words and say I was wrong about eye creams. The AlumierMD Eye cream is not only hands down my favourite eye cream but it is also the only eye cream that I actually see a major difference in the brightness around my eyes.
I have been told by my dermatologist that a lot of the darkness under my eyes comes from the skin below my eyes being very thin. I thought the only way to fix this was with fillers and to be honest needles around my eyes freaks me out (thank god for concealer). This eye cream has really made a major difference for me and I am still beyond shocked.
Product Info and a little about the brand:
AlumierMD is a medical grade skin care company, if you don’t know what the difference between medical grade and things from Sephora is that a medical grade skincare has to be purchased through a dermatologist because the high concentrations of the ingredients. medical grade really needs to be tailored for specific problems and skin types. Personally speaking I think if you are having skin problems of any kind I always recommend going to a dermatologist before trying to fix the issues with products you can buy at any store. Many skin problems have a great number of causes and it is not a one size fits all kind of thing.

Helps increase firmness and elasticity
Really works great under makeup, helps stop foundation from settling into fine lines!
In conclusion, I am going to be adding this cream to my daily routine and I will be buying it myself once this one runs out! I am in love with this eye cream it feels so luxurious and really helps with the dryness under my eyes and my eczema near my eyes has almost gone away. My only con with this product is the packaging, It’s beautiful don’t get me wrong it looks great. I just don’t like creams in pots because with nails it gets a touch messy and I waste product. That being said this cream is so good I am willing to make an exception because without that little issue of mine its pretty perfect for me. On their website they have a Find a Professional section to help you find a dermatologist near you as well as a live chat should you have any questions.
Info on me: I am 26 with dry – very dry skin and very sensitive (my pale British skin). I had no adverse reactions to this product at all.
Let me know if you guys want me to try any products that are your favourites!
