July hair care favs top 5
July favourites: July has been a lot of trial and error with my hair. Since ditching the red and going back black/brown I have been working on products that don’t dry my hair out and help repair my poor damaged mane.
All of the products listed are cruelty-free and some will be vegan as well. Finding great hair care has been a bit of a struggle but these 5 products I have found really work for my hair.
July Favourites :
1. IGK Beach Club texture spray $35
A lot of us have used the “surf sprays” but I have always found them very drying but not this one. This product is gluten free, vegan and cruelty-free and all that other good stuff. My hair has a natural curl so I love to spray this on when my hair air dries and it gives me such amazing beachy waves. I love this product and it smells so good I would wear it as perfume lol. Beyond obsessed with this product! you should really check this out if you want to add a little volume and add texture to your hair. A+ from me
2. Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo $11
This product I got for the first time at Gen Beauty. When I used it I was so happy because for once zero white cast. if you have darker hair you know the dry shampoo struggle of this white film that always gets left behind. If you want a drug store amazing dry shampoo that smells great this is your best friend. Add great volume to 2nd-day hair and really soaks up any oil build up for fresh, easy to work with hair.
3. Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil dry styling oil $10
This spray really helps my damaged hair and tames the frizz from the broken parts of my hair. I spray this oil in my hair once it has air dried but before I use heat. It’s also great after you straighten or curl your hair to make it smooth and shiny. Really love this and it’s not heavy or greasy at all.
4. Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative leave in conditioning spray $26
This again was given to me at Gen beauty and I am obsessed with this !! Honestly I cannot live without this now and I am going to be trying way more from this company. They are vegan, cruelty-free and this product is also gluten free. Most leave in conditioners I don’t find hydrating enough but this one not only smells amazing but works so well. A new holy grail with a blend coconut oil, argan oil, and rosehip oil.
5. Eva Nyc Mane Magic 10 in 1 primer $14USD
Just like a primer for your face they created a primer for your hair. When I first saw this I thought it was very clever. This product is infused with argan and sunflower oil and gives your hair its daily dose of vitamins. This is like a spray in conditioner and is applied to damp hair to help fight frizz, add shine and generally take you from drab to fab. it Smells great ( kind of reminds me of tanning oil smell ). This primer really helps when my hair is super tangled and made its way into my july favourites.
That’s my new top 5 July favorites. I know I have 2 leave in conditioners on this list but I find my hair is best when I switch it up. I have very dry hair so any help is great. These are some products I will be adding to my haircare arsenal.
I hope you guys enjoyed this and if you have damaged hair and you have any product suggestions please let me know. I hope you beauties are having a great day and until next time …
