Veg Food Fest Was LIT
As some of you may know Veg Food Fest put on by the Toronto Vegetarian Association was Sept 8-10th. Veg Food Fest is a vegan/vegetarian festival that was held at the harbourfront center downtown. This was my first time attending this type of an event. As a new vegan, I was super excited to go!
From the moment you enter the festival, it’s booth after booth of amazing food and everything from household items, beauty, fashion and even pet foods. Veg Fest was surprising in the best way possible. Never before had I attended an event at this level that was still so chilled.
As intimidated as I was initially by the fact I was a new vegan and I had this picture in my head of being the kid who switches school halfway through the year, I was surprised to find this couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only did I meet vegans like my self but I also met a ton of “seasoned Vegans” everyone was really welcoming.
I met people who are right in the trenches of animal rights to those who are trying to make products to give people an alternative. Also So many other great Organisations, Companies, and people. I hope my photos do them justice and below I will link all the companies featured in the photos.
Below I will leave a list of organizations that explain these issues better than I can and my hope is that one-day true freedom will exist. I hope you guys have a great weekend!
So many other amazing vendors and non-profits were there. These four, however, I personally got to speak to and connect with. For a full list of vendors Click Here
